How to apply through the Accelerated Tech Pathway in 3 Steps
Step 1:
Open an Express Entry profile with the Government of Canada to be considered under this stream.Step 2:
Submit to be evaluated by the AINP to see if you match the minimum eligibility requirements to apply. If you satisfy the minimum qualifying requirements you will get an email invitation to apply.Step 3:
If you meet the requirements for the Accelerated Tech Pathway, submit your application which will be placed in a pool of eligible applicants for processing.Requirements for Accelerated Tech Pathway

- Include information on your Alberta-based job offer or employment
- Include your Federal Express Entry profile
- Have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 300
- Have a valid immigration status
- If you work full-time in Alberta or have a full-time job offer located in Alberta
- Your occupation is on the Accelerated Tech Pathways list of approved occupations
- The main occupation in your Express Entry profile is the same occupation as your current Alberta employment or job offer
- Your salary must meet minimum wage requirements
- Live in or intend to live and work in Alberta
