The University of Alberta has a really cool way of welcoming all newcomers and returning students. It’s called the Annual Week of Welcome. It’s done every year to celebrate the first week of the academic year. The week is filled with activities such as stage performances, pancake breakfasts and many more!

The university also hosts Green & Gold Day, a spirit school event featuring a parade, pep rally, barbeque and the University of Alberta’s largest dodgeball game. That sounds like fun!

The fun doesn’t stop in the wintertime. The university celebrates winter by hosting an annual game called antifreeze. All week teams compete in several outdoor and indoor events.

And lastly, a fun game that brings back childhood memories, hide ‘n seek! Once a week this club chooses a different building on campus to play hide ‘n seek in. This can be a great way to let loose and have some fun.
